
Jack Lowe is an actively performing and composing musician based in the UK. He is a double bassist, bass guitarist a ukulele player with a flair for creating positive, uplifting live performances. Jack holds a First Class Degree in Music from the University of Sunderland and a MMus in Composition from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Prepared Harmonica Duet
I’m currently working on a duet for prepared harmonicas and should have some audio samples to showcase soon. Keep an eye out on the “compositions” tab. The preparations feature taking the harmonicas apart and rebuilding them to have cross-keys.

Toucan Uke – Brew Dog, Sheffield – 18/12/14
I’ll be performing with my duo Toucan Uke for a Christmas Special at Brewdog Bar Sheffield on Thursday 18th December. Entry is free and music starts at 8.30pm
UK Festival Tour 2015
Festival touring dates for 2015 are shaping up nicely and will be released in early February. Expect the usual Edinburgh Fringe and Lincolnshire SO festivals plus some exciting new live radio broadcasts dates. Stay tuned to the website for further information.
Cutashine – Standon Calling Festival
Cutashine will be performing another Hoedown at 3pm and 9pm at the Standon Calling Festival Folk tent on Saturday 4 August. We’ll also hopefully be performing some Old Time tunes around the festival sight – watch out for the Double Bass, Fiddle and Banjo by your tent!
